Regina contacted me about two weeks before her wedding to Ade. The happy couple had held their wedding day in South Africa and were having their legal ceremony back in sunny Swinton! Having already had quite a few wedding photographs taken, my brief was to document the ceremony and to take a beautiful family photograph Regina and Ade could have framed, as they didn’t manage this at their South African wedding.
After a lovely conversation over the phone we were all booked in and set for the big day. I arrived early to find some locations for the portraits and have a quick chat with the Registrar.
The first time I met Regina was when the bride stepped out of her wedding car and this was one of my first and favourite photographs…
The ceremony was held in the main ceremony room, a really lovely intimate setting and a great room for candid, natural photographs.
After the ceremony we all went outside for some group photographs. After initially being a little shy, this soon changed and we even had time for some bouquet throwing! This doesn’t happen at every wedding, but it does make for some great action shots.
After a few days, Regina had her photographs delivered in a private online gallery. This was the voice note…
And the family photograph… : )
